Paleo Chef's Bangin' Liver and Me...

Paleo Chef's Bangin' Liver and Me...

I have never eaten liver before. My dad used to cook it up when we were kids, with a big pan of onions, and holy moly, did that ever stink up our house. Looking back I'm not sure what he was doing to make it smell like old feet, but there was no way a teenage me was going to stick some of that rank amorphous grey stuff into my mouth no matter how much he promised I'd like it.

Bring On The Heart Workout

Bring On The Heart Workout

P90X2 Plyocide!  Need I say more?  This morning for my workout, I did P90X2 plyometrics DVD.  I had to pause it 4 times and I got light headed once towards the end.  But I made it – I survived, and now I feel great!  I have to admit, however, my heart rate really shot up there – my heart isn’t in as good of shape as it could be (or needs to be).  I’ve kind of avoided doing exercise which gets my heart rate up for the past few years.  I’ve been working on my strength and flexibility, but not my heart.  I know it’s an area I have neglected, so I am currently focusing on strengthening my it – for a few reasons.

Essential Oils & Hospitals

Essential Oils & Hospitals

By Nancy Smorch

Lakota: Tendon and Calcium Deposit Diagnosis and Healing

After I collected myself and re-grouped (the thought of not being able to share rides to the beach at Lake Michigan or the Greenway in Florida or just messing around the property was not something I could bear the thought of), I started thinking about all of the tools I have gathered over the years, and how fortunate I am to have the group of people in my universe that have showed up.

Lessons Learned On Vacation

Lessons Learned On Vacation

Hearing ZD’s story and seeing the many vineyards – some just starting with small vines and others in full production – made me think about the long term vision and dedication these people had and continue to have. It seems so many in our culture have been conditioned to think of instant results and have a “what’s in it for me now” attitude, and they don’t have the capacity to think long term or they don’t have the tools and/or discipline to think about what kind of legacy they are going to leave behind.

Essential Oils Workshop at the Parelli Center, Ocala FL

We had a fun time this past Wednesday at the Parelli Center in Ocala, Fl.
